Boo-hoo!

Apologies if this shades over into what's going on on the other banking threads...
I woke up this morning and my bank had been hollowed out like a dead squirrel. The word on the street is that JP Morgan Chase is the Wells Fargo of the East, chock-full of fees and strife.
So I'm pondering moving my slight bank account to another bank. Which is best, for a denizen of Capitol Hill? Can US Bank be trusted? Is there a WSECU outlet nearby that I can tap into? Recommendations, horror stories, recipes?
