Scanners and Thanksgiving

Hi all,

I have two inquiries:

1) Are there places where you can just pay them to scan non-digital photos for you? I know this sounds dumb, but I don't have a scanner (nor do I have the patience to go through and scan old photos).

2) Do you currently work with a NFP that needs help with anything on Thanksgiving day? I don't have plans and would like to spend my time helping others. I know that most places are crazy busy this time of year, so I thought before I start calling all over, I'd find out if any of you know a place that for sure needs volunteers.

Much thanks!

Be sure to check out our review in Metroblogging Seattle:

"Train of Thought is without a doubt one of the most talented and funny sketch comedy groups you'll ever see in your life."

We only have two more shows - Friday and Saturday! Be sure to get there early - we have been selling out!

The Best of Train of Thought runs for two more shows only, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17th and 18th, @ 10:30 PM, in the Cabaret Theater, 3rd Floor at Northwest Actor’s Studio. It will feature all of your favorite sketches about being laid off, breaking up and more!

Don’t forget: the theater is all comfy chairs and couches and has a bar too!

Also, per tradition we're having another Black & White Closing Night Party! It'll be after the show on Saturday, November 18th, around 11:30 PM in the Cabaret Theater at Northwest Actors Studio (same place as the show).

We'll have a DJ, dance floor, full bar and remember - you can only wear black and white! (There's no cover either!)

You don't have to be at the show on Saturday to come to the party. Hope to see you there!

Yoga 4 Kidz?

I am interested in taking my 3.5 year old step son (elect) to a youngsters yoga class once a week. I've done a search on Google and a ton of random local yoga sites come up. Not all programs are active (some are summer programs, etc.), and others (the one I practice at) have programs for mothers with babies under one. :\

Does anyone have experience with an on-going youth/child class or program at a local yoga studio that may be recommended? It doesn't need to be drop-in, but it can be - it really makes no difference.

I'm looking for recommendations and +/- experiences with local yoga studios with regard to kids' classes or (step)mom-and-me-type classes.

Thanks!

Consignment Stores/Thrift Stores

I heard that there is a thrift store up in Seattle that just sells wedding/formal wear? I did a couple Google searches and nothing showed up. I'm going shopping for my wedding dress this weekend and would love to check out some second-hand stores, etc.
