I moved to Seattle in July. If I move to Portland next year, can I say I'm from Seattle? Or is there a statute of limitations that must be met first?

It's not like I'd be ashamed of the year I lived here or anything.

This question is as pointless as it appears.

PS: I like rain.

waiting on a court date?

All day I've been getting messages relaying information about someone's court date. I called the courthouse and they said they deleted my number from their records, but I keep getting calls.

So. Now.

If your name is MATTHEW PENHOLLOW (at least that's what it sounds like), you are due in Courtroom 2 at the Shoreline courthouse on 11/8/06 at 3:15 p.m. Questions? The number they left is (206) 205-9200.

Mods, feel free to delete this if it's inappropriate...just thought I'd give the guy a shot at not getting in trouble for missing his court date! :)

Is there any place in Washington that will provide assistance to a low-income person for a fairly uncomplicated surgery? My mom needs her gallbladder removed. She's also 61, if there's any place that counts that as a senior. I know there's got to be something, but I don't know where to start looking. If anyone could tell me where to look, that would help, too.
