i haven't really seen this topic covered

i am researching wine bars for a project i'm doing for school and i thought that this would be the best place to start..

favorite wine bars in the city?
or bars specializing in wine... or maybe even restaurants that have an extensive wine selection.
and why do you like it?

any help would be much appreciated.

So its almost time for me to get all my shit together for a birthday party....if i wanted a party at a lounge, where would a good place be for a revolving 15+ people? Think...dahlia lounge, only without the $1,200 private room fee. Im trying to figure out a really great place, any suggestions?

Heart attack on a plate suggestions?

When you want real, authentic, delicious Southern food, where do you go? I tried Claim Jumper in Redmond and it was very disappointing.

I'm looking for a place that serves chicken fried chicken, pot roast, southwest chicken casserole, that kind of stuff. In Texas, I would go to Texas Land & Cattle, Black Eyed Pea, Good Eats, and so on (for chains), or any number of local places like Threadgill's and Dixie's.

Yes, of course I used Google, that's how I found Claim Jumper. I need personal recommendations.

I eagerly await your suggestions.
