Judo in Seattle

Didn't see anything about this in the memories, so...

Judo, Aikido or something similar in Seattle? I'm looking for a defence- and throwing-oriented martial art. I'm not too keen on the idea of meshing many martial arts together or taking a self-defence class; I actually want to go through the process of immersing myself in the art and earning my belts. I'm always open to suggestions that aren't JUST Judo, though.

(I'm looking for more personal recommendations - google and citysearch returned clubs, hybrids and a lot of other styles, but very few classes.)

Thanks!

MORE WITH THE QUESTIONS!

Hello, everyone!

I posted in here a few days ago, because I'm going to be in Seattle next week... WELL, I got a lot of feedback that I needed to check out Capitol Hill while I'm there. My hotel is going to be in the Belltown district. Will it be safe to walk to/from 1st Avenue and Wall Street down to Pike, and then over to Broadway, late at night? Or should I call a cab or something?

Do you know this man?

"the man decided to take his 1993 GMC Astrovan for a spin on the track, and was driving the wrong way at a high speed. He was on the straightway in front of the bleachers when he collided with a guardrail.

The impact shattered the van into several pieces."

remember seattle, you're still surrounded by rednecks.

I just relocated here from the midwest. Soon I will have to decide whether to bring my corn burning furnace out here. In the midwest it was hard to spit without hitting a cornfield and here its just not like that. Does anyone know if there is a place around Seattle area thatI can pick up a few hundred pounds of shelled corn every year?
