Inn Harmony Guest House

First scouting trip is in four weeks. I'm planning on staying at Inn Harmony Guest House because it's insanely cheap next month. Any opinions on the place? Smart ass comments about people wanting information? Favorite kind of invertebrate? Whatever ya got.
I hope something eats you

Moving to seattle

I currently live in everett_wa and I'm thinking of moving to seattle in the next few months and could use some links to the best places. Can you give me any advice? Are the people in seattle petty? Do they have their own community such as nomoreljdrama?

I own nine cats, two parakeets, one 12-year-old, two bunnies, and one hamster so I'll need a place where pets are allowed. Is seattleanimals good for that?

Through Fissure Manifold Motion and collaborating artists present improvisation and thematic development across genres and forms as a unified and compelling performance event.

Fissure is co-created by Jeremy Bieger, a composer, bassist and video artist and Manifold Motion's Artistic Director, Keely Isaak Meehan, a movement and video artist. Bieger and Meehan have worked together on several projects over the past ten years including Manifold Motion's premiere production, Seed.

Collaborating artists include Kyle von Wrangel Kinsey, a fused glass artist whose work can be seen and purchased in galleries around Seattle and at Pike Place Market; percussionist and idea-machine Mike McCracken; and musician Dan White.

A project of the Shunpike.

furniture movers/removal

Hi everyone

I just moved to north seattle from mercer island this last weekend.

Can someone recommend a decent furniture mover as well as a company that does furniture removal?

I have a large television and a couch that need to be schlepped over here.
Plus I have a chest of drawers that I'd like to send to hell.

Or... if anyone is interested in buying my TV, it's a Panasonic PT-47WX42 in perfect shape. Pickup at the island. Make me an offer :)

Did I just get screwed?

Hey Seattle,

Did any of you go to the Sonics game tonight? They actually won (!), but that's not why I'm posting here. During the game, all patrons were promised "Free Pepsi®" if the Sonics scored 108 points or more. Final score: 114-104, Sonics. Free Pepsi! Yay!!! Or not. What we actually received were coupons for a free 8-pack of the Pepsi product of our choice to be redeemed at the retailer of our choice.

Well, here's the problem: it's looking like NOBODY sells Pepsi in 8-packs! Not QFC, not Larry's and not Safeway. I googled it. No dice. I even searched Pepsi's website and came up with "No matches were found for '8pack'". NOT EVEN PEPSI KNOWS WHERE TO GET AN 8-PACK!!!

So I turn to you, seattle, in hopes that you will help keep me and thousands of other Sonics fans from getting screwed by PepsiCo. Please reply here with any local retailers who can hook me up with my free 8-pack to which I am rightfully entitled.
