Spaces for Events

Does anybody know of places in Seattle that can be rented for a non-profit fundraiser? It has to be under $1000 for the whole package and we need to be able to sell alcohol. Also, the more central the location, the better. Thanks!

Voting is important

It's closing week for the funniest political show in Seattle!

Election Show 2004 is an improvised election where the audience votes to elect a President! It features improvised debates, attack ads, scaring old people and more!

Plus the show is non-partisian! There’s no Bush. No Kerry. No Republicans. No Democrats. No real issues like war or taxes.

It features fake parties (Whig and Bull Moose). Fake candidates and fake issues that we get from the audience. (Past winning platforms include mandatory naps for all Americans and a 5th branch of the military comprised entirely of ninjas.)

It's cheap. It's funny. We won't do it again until 2008. Come see it!

So I'm going to be celebrating my 21st birthday next Saturday night. I'm looking for a place preferably on Capitol Hill (maybe Belltown though)that can fit a group of probaly 7-10 people together- any recommendations? Considered Karaoke even so any suggestions on that would be cool to.

*I checked the memories but didnt really find anything that fit what i was looking for- sorry!
