Because of all of the rain in the last few days, a lot of people have been flooding. If you need help with drying your houses out (once the mold kicks in it's almost impossible to remove, and VERY expensive, and not covered by isurance) please please call us. we're full contractors, meaning we can get you dry, and if you have damage you need repaired, we can do that too if you like. We're not price gougers, we don't like to take advantage of people, and we price according to what insurance company standards are. Plus we'll work with your insurance company if you choose to subit a claim.
I'm posting this here because if you need the work, and we get the job, I get a referral check, and lemme tell you how badly I could use the referral check!
We are: Premier Water Damage & Construction and Charley's Carpet Cleaning - 253-939-3682 or 877-939-3682 toll free. Tell them it was Erin on Livejournal who referred you!
Or if you jsut have questions about water damage, call too. I'm not high pressure.
Did any one here graduate from SCCC this past spring?
Did you happen to go to the ceremony?
Did you fill out the photo info?
The photography rep explained to us that we could go online to a certain website and see the proofs of our photos.
I've since forgotten this website, but I'm really interested to see if the photos turned out.
It's a long shot, but I had to try.
My little brother was at Club Medusa on Saturday night between 10 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. Between 2:00 and 2:30 a.m. he was beat up and left with a broken nose and blow to the head. Club employees apparently escorted my brother out to his car--instead of calling him a taxi, and after driving away (he had not been drinking, there was no alcohol in his blood), my brother plowed into a truck on the other side of the road--due to a concussion from the assault.
Did anyone see any of this brawl and/or accident Saturday night? This is assault and battery and is very serious. I would really, really appreciate any information you may have--and you can post anonymously in my journal (I don't track IPs) if you prefer.
I am SUPER angry and upset off that MY BROTHER WAS NOT PUT INTO A TAXI, if for no other reason than as a safety precaution. Not only was his life put in danger, but so were the other drivers' on the road that night.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
(Cross-posted in my journal.)
Is anyone going to Mt Rainier summit or knows someone who is going this season?
If you have a spot, please let me know, I'd love to join.
I just keep on winning stuff from radio stations that I just can't use! For instance, today i won tickets to the 60's Pop Reunion at the White River Amphitheater (featuring Tommy James & The Shondells, Herman's Hermits, The Grassroots, The Buckinghams and Chad & Jeremy) from KBSG (97.3 FM). Dag-nabbit, I work on weekends!
So anyway, I'm not gonna be able to make it. 2 tickets, general admission, 8/29 (Sunday), worth $20 per ticket.
Just like my last post, I am looking to trade these tickets to ANYBODY for just about ANYTHING. Best offer that I get by Midnight on Thursday gets the tickets.
Now remember, I'm a Geek/Nerd. When thinking of trading stuff, think of geeky and/or nerdy things (although appealing to my need for helping my fellow man nearly worked last time).
HURRY! DEADLINE IS THURSDAY NIGHT AT MIDNIGHT!!!
I'm looking for a neat couch, used or new for semi-reasonable price. Under 500 is preferable.
Where are your favorite furniture stores?
I've looked at Dixons, Fremont area and Ikea is kind of last on the list. I know there are more places to find great couches, but now that I'm actually looking, I'm having a hard time finding what I know is out there.
Thanks so much!
I just received this note from the LJ Abuse team...
Dear LiveJournal user pixelwench,
It has come to the attention of the Abuse Team that one or more maintainers of your community 'seattle' has been deleting numerous comments and marking them as 'spam' when the comment did not contain unsolicited advertising of any sort. Making a false report such as this hinders LiveJournal administrators from detecting and dealing with actual reports of unsolicited advertising and thus makes the spam detection and elimination process slower for all involved.
Please reserve the use of the "mark this comment as spam" option for entries which contain actual advertisements for commercial products and services, unwanted promotion of communities, and similar.
I admittedly haven't even been around much lately [which is also why the memories section may be lacking, sorry!], with certain offline things to take care of, so this is the first I'd heard of this happening. I recently received one email complaint from a user who had her comments screened and wanted to know why. Discovered it was merely the person who had made the particular post choosing that as a default, and reassured her it was nothing having to do with her posting/commenting rights in the community, overall.
That being said, we have a few mods in this community, all of whom I assume are capable of making a good judgment call. But, if for some reason, you find yourself with a complaint about something that's been said/done, please feel free to drop me a line at pixelwench at livejournal dot com. Hopefully I'll be able to assist you and see that your experience in this [sometimes brutal, but oh so lovable!] community is a positive one.
And on that warm, fuzzy, cheese-filled note, I'm off!
