Wedding/Personal/Senior Photography

Hey there, my name is Cody.. I'm 19 years old and live in marysville..

I'm currently in the process of starting up a photography business. My style of photography is definitely photojournalism.. I'm looking for a few clients to get me started, and I will literally give you the best deal you can find, however; You will need to make all your own prints (wal-mart, rite-aid, any photo lab) but wouldn't we all like to just take our own wedding picutres and develop them anyways? I can walk you through step to step of how to do anything if you're worried you wont be able to figure it out. Photography is very important to me, and I'm very easy to get along with and friendly, and I'm just wanting to help people out.. I have 4 sisters, I know how expensive weddings can be! I'm basically just looking for a few good people who don't feel they should be spending thousands of dollars for a photographer that isn't intersted in the art.. and solely in it for the money.. anyways if you're interested leave me a comment in my live journal, or send me an email.. can get the address from my journal.. I can give you more details, or if you have any questions let me know. Thanks

-Cody

Best Burlesque in the Pacific Northwest!

I caught the Atomic Bombshells at The Mirabeau Room on Queen Anne tonight.
Hot HOT Show!
A must see if you are a big Burlesque fan or especially if you have never seen a Burlesque show before.
Really a well done, thought out, well rehearsed performance.
Not to mention sexy and fun as hell.
From the Dancers to the MC and all the little side acts in between it was worth so much more than the $10 I paid to get in.

They are such a hit that the Mirabeau Room has extended their stay for another 3 weeks!
Wednesdays - doors open at 9 - show started a little after 10.

My face still hurts from smilin so much.

Go Above!

A moment with ... Above, urban artist

Go Above!

By D. PARVAZ
SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER REPORTER

If you're one of those people who occasionally looks up while roaming the streets of Seattle, you might have noticed the wooden signs with small messages painted on them. Secured to power lines by metal cables, the colorful arrows twist in the wind, flashing words such as "give" "take" "look" and "up."

Mysterious, no?

I've been loving this guy's work on Capitol Hill this summer. Good stuff.

Is there a community for seattle parents or something of that sort where you can post things about being an available nanny/ babysitter? I tried to look for it in the memories and didn't see anything. Thanks!

Monorail screwing me up?

I just looked into the bill sent by "Vehicle Licensing" dept and saw this whopping $465.00 monorail tax. The monorail website says that its charging 1.4% of value of the car. KBB says my car value is around $27k (its a used 2000 Saab Conv). I only paid 21K. This is insane. Guess I am paying for not following the monorail case thingy in the past. Is everyone here paying this tax here? I dont even drive my car anymore, I so want to sell my car. Is there anything I could do? Any advice would be appreciated.

Just to warn everyone out there who may be looking for an apartment, I would advise against renting any of the apartments of 2319 E Spring St. The landlord there, whose name I will give you if needed, has seemingly come up with many ridiculous charges so as to not have to refund the security deposit. Just a word of warning from someone who lost around $800 to her.

If you need, please e-mail or post a comment in my journal, and I can give more details.

Question for you guys. Does anyone know a Jeff Roderick or Jon Rhea? I knew them a long time ago and i just came across some old pictures of them and was curious to see how they were. I'm pretty sure Jeff was/is in a band named Damnaged and i have no idea where Jon might be. Anyways, i thought i'd give this a try. Thanks!
