I decided today that I want to learn golf.
I don't need lessons, my fiance can teach me, I just need to know about courses around here, what's good, what's cheap, what's close, what's pretty. I've searched on yahoo, but, surprisingly enough, golfing websites are boring...and largely unhelpful. I want first hand information!
SOMEONE here golfs....right?
I need to find a local photographer, preferably in Capitol Hill, who has an edge. I want some portraits done - nothing professional (not for modeling, etc.). I don't want to spend and arm and a leg, or any other kind of body part.
Are there suggestions of photographers? Someone creative, not corporate, etc. Web pages or sample of work would be nice to see, as well.

If you want more info, let me know. I am unsure how much it's going to pay.
Apparently you need a cable I don't have. Anyone know how or where I could do this?
I'm 24 yr old female currently living in the Portland, OR area and am planning on moving to Seattle in the next couple of months. I'll be attending the Art Institute in the fall to study Audio Production.
I need some advice on housing. I'd like something small, relatively inexpensive for my cat and myself. I'd prefer a small studio/efficiency to shared housing. I'm not terribly familiar with Seattle, so I guess what I need most is information on the different neighborhoods. I'd like something relatively close to school/downtown, with accesibility to public transportation. A relatively safe area would be ideal. I was looking at a place around 6th and Marion, what is that part of town like? Any suggestions on places to check out or avoid?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Does anyone have a Cingular-compatible cell phone, preferably one with an MP3 player OR a camera, color screen, good shape, for sale cheap?
I HATE my Sony Ericcson with unbridled passion, but don't have $300 to spend on a new one, and I hate ebay...
I may have posted this before.. I can't remember.
I am in DESPERATE need of a volleyball team. I want to play!!
I am having the hardest time trying to find some friendly competitive volleyball. I can find places that you can play if you already have a team, but I don't have a team.
Even open gyms would be better!!
Does anyone know of a place where I can play volleyball?
I need the help of someone who's been a walk-on passenger of the Edmonds to Kingston ferry route. On Friday, I will be walking onto this ferry for the first time, every other time I've used this ferry I've been driving. My husband will be picking me up at the terminal, but I need to tell him where to meet me. Where would you suggest? Where does the passenger ramp offload?
I thank you in advance for your help!
Ok so I have the dates set in stone now...I'm leaving Austin to head for Seattle on July 11th. This gives me 4 days to get to my destination! It's going to take that long too!
I'll be in the U-district :)
