Human Rights Campaign

I am native to Seattle, however, I'm away at college, for another month. Almost home!!!

I just finished giving a speech to my very conservative classmates in Twin Falls, Idaho. The topic: Why homosexual marriage SHOULD be allowed. A lot of my facts were from the Human Rights Campaign: http://www.hrc.org
Such as:
*3.1 million people are in same-sex relationships right now in the US.
*One out of every 3 lesbian couples, and one of 5 gay couples, are parents.
*Married couples have more then 1,100 'special' rights, that same-sex couples cannot legally share at this time.

There are a few options:
If you have not done so already, check out http://www.millionformarriage.org and sign the online petition.
Sign up for an HRC meetup near you. It happens on the 4th tues of every month, so the next one is April 27th at 7pm. Twin Falls does not have enough active members, (there are two. You need 5 to hold a meetup) and I cannot make it to the Seattle one, so I wanted to promote.

EDIT: Meetups mean you go and sign up, (click on the banner above) vote on a location, and meet other people to discuss issues at hand. Or to just meet other nifty people with similar opinions :)
There is also a general Livejournal meetup for people in many different cities-- so go check to site out :)

Hey guys. My fiancee and I are looking to get married. We've already got our marriage license. We don't have any religious affiliation and are very likely to have a court wedding officiated by a judge. Can anyone recommend us a judge? Or anyone who is a legal officiant? I use to see Drive By Elvis at the back page of The Stranger but he seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know what happened to him?

hi...a while back (like 4 months ago...) i remember seeing an ad in the seattle weekly for someone that specialized in eyebrow shaping (someplace in the ave perhaps?)...does anyone know of someone that specializes in eyebrow waxing/plucking etc?
