If you have any unpaid tickets from the City of Seattle, there's good news for you if you act quickly. "Until March 31, 2004, all collection fees and interest from past due tickets and fines are waived," according to a recent press release of theirs.

Also, if you live in the Northgate area, you can pay up at a special station in Northgate Mall this weekend only.

See the City's press release for more information.

(Apologies if this is a repeat.)

Gourmet Fortune Cookies

Does anyone know where I can get personalized gourmet fortune cookies in Seattle? I'm looking for cookies dipped in chocolate, caramel, etc. possibly with other fillings and toppings. Would also like if I can include personalized messages in each cookie.

Please help!

Does anyone know of a good place to eat brunch on a Sunday? Any place from Federal Way to North Seattle will work. However, something closer to South Seattle/Renton would be the best. I haven't done it in so long, I forgot what's good and my favorite places have closed down.

NW Biodiesel Forum Saturday 3/13 at the Phinney Neighborhood Center

The Northwest Biodiesel Network (NBN) will be holding the second annual public Northwest Biodiesel Educational Forum on Saturday March 13, from 1pm to 4pm. Located at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6523 Phinney Ave N, Seattle, the forum will promote biodiesel education, advocacy and networking.

The NBN Forum will be a gathering spot for those in the Puget Sound region who are currently using biodiesel or for those who would like to learn more about it There will be presentations on consumer issues, emissions, manufacture, economics, and advocacy, as well as outdoor booths, demonstrations and a display of vehicles running biodiesel.

The Northwest Biodiesel Network is a non-profit grassroots organization founded in 2003 to promote the local use of biodiesel fuel as a cleaner alternative to petroleum diesel in vehicles and other applications. NBN advocates the use of biodiesel for individual diesel car and truck owners and large vehicle fleets owned by governments and businesses. NBN meets monthly in Seattle to discuss biodiesel promotion and usage. Those who are interested are welcome to attend.
