uhm.. hi! this is my first post in a communtity. Anyway, I'm currently in the Atlanta area, but looking to move to Seattle in early april. Is it a good place to live? How's the music scene? What area would you people reccomend living? Advice, please! Thanks.

SUVs for Dean?

why do I see so many damn SUVs with Dean stickers/signs?? what's up with that? is there an SUVs for Dean group or something? Anti-environmentalists for Dean or something?

Vote Kucinich, the TRUE environmentalist choice and Peace candidate.

The Times They are a Changin'

Saturday, tomorrow, is the Washington Caucuses! Get out there and VOTE please!! find yours!

peace to all. we CAN win this. we can get Bush out and Kucinich, the ONLY REAL alternative to Bush, IN! we can do this if we get out and vote.

peace! I've been holding a Kucinich sign everyday for 10-45 minutes on the street corner by my apartments this week. sometimes it's a good thing to live by two main streets and the freeway!

Position-free Democratic Caucus information

Instead of casting aspersions against groups of people (Dean supporters, carnivores, SUV owners, Kucinich supporters, Seattle drivers, vegetarians, etc.), I'd like to ask every local member of the Democratic Party to consider participating in the democratic process. Everyone who is interested in participating in Washington state's Democratic Party Presidential primary should plan to attend caucuses this Saturday morning. Support whichever candidate you want, for your own reasons (electability, positions on issues, looks, etc.). It's your right and your choice.

This week's Stranger included a quick Moron's Guide to the Caucuses for more information on the process.

First, go here to look up your precinct number (if you don't know it already; if you have your voter registration card, it's there). Then, go here to locate your precinct caucus location, or call 206-583-0664 if you can't figure out how to click on a link.

Edited to add precinct look-up link.

So, what is everyone doing this weekend? In seattle of course (to make this relevant to the community) :P

I can't stand seeing a million posts about politics. In the Seattle community people rant either about bad drivers or politics...Let's break the mold people! ;]
