blocking intersections

To all those lovely people blocking intersections on Denny -

1. It's illegal. Not that anyone really cares but you can get a pretty big ticket for it.
2. The light isn't going to change if you block the intersection. I know it's hard to believe that you don't have the power to change the light, but it's true.
3. Your life is NOT more important than mine or anyone else’s trying to go through the intersection so stop blocking it.
4. Be a good little person and stop behind the white line until there is room for your car in front.

I swear to god if I have to wait through another light on Denny just because people blocked the intersection, I am going to force feed some vegan a big steak.

Book Club start-up (xposted to wellreadseattle)

As some of you have probably seen from my earlier post that I am very interested in starting up and participating in a book club.

There seemed to be a great response to the thought/request I figured I would get an idea of what people wanted.

Basically, I'd like to get a feel for what books and genres people would be interesting in reading. I am pretty open to anything.

Please respond with your suggestions, questions and recommendations.
Thanks!
