Ok, it really isn't a proposition because I have nothing to offer back... maybe a fancy dinner, but, not much more than that. I am poor.. and if I am going to be buying a bike, I will be even poorer. :-P
Is there anyone in the Seattle/Bellevue area that would be willing to come with me when I buy my bike? It probably won't be for a couple of months (maybe December - unless I get antsy), so that I can save up at least half the costs.
I can research a bike forever, and have all sorts of knowledge on specs, etc... but, then when I get to the dealership, they tend to try to talk around me and expect me to buy the BS they are spewing. I am a girl, and I am wimpy, but I am not stupid. I just don't have it in me to be demanding with them, so I end up leaving.
I'd prefer someone who knows bikes well, and can haggle like crazy. :-P (And, not in the way where you talk the price down and they just slam you with bogus fees and whatnot, to make up for the difference...)
As of right this second, I want is a Kawasaki ZZR600. Oooooh (Don't try to talk me out of it). But, I haven't gone in to check it out yet, so I may not even like it up close.. or come even close to being able to touch the ground while seated. (I can't be blamed, I work two jobs and I have quizzes due for class!)
I will have a bike picked out before I ask of anyone to come along with me. But, if you are good at getting extras tacked on, and still getting prices lowered, that would be cool! (I don't know what extras, but offer some suggestions :-P)
So, to make a long story even longer... I basically need someone who is good at haggling, and someone to make sure that I got the bike that I paid for and everything is in top shape.
Anybody want to help?? :-D
