There is a ton of free or free-ish outdoor cinema going on this summer in Seattle.


AT&T Outdoor Cinema
Where: Seattle Center's Mural Amphitheater through July 14,
continuing at Marymoor Park in Redmond starting Aug. 3.
Gates open at 6 p.m., and live music starts at 7 p.m. before the movies.
Cost: Free.

Fremont Outdoor Movies
Where: 34th and Phinney, across from the Redhook Brewery. Gate opens
at 7 p.m., and Jet City Improv will do live comedy before the movies.
Cost: $5.

Where: Linda's Tavern, 707 E. Pine St. on Capitol Hill, on the back
patio. Tables and chairs are provided; don't bring your own. And it's
a tavern; so don't bring kids, either.
Cost: Free.
