Hospital Gowns

Despite living by many hospitals, I have no idea where to get hospital gowns. I need three for some halloween costumes (brain donors). I'd order online, but I'm worried they won't arrive in time. Any idea where I could go to find some cheap gowns? I have a car so distance isn't a problem. Is this something I can just buy from a hospital? Thanks!

Get yourself scheduled for an x-ray or other scan and keep the gown as a souvenir? ;)

I was in the University Surplus store a couple of weeks ago and they had some. NOTE: It's only open to the public on Tuesday afternoons and the gowns may well be gone now.

You can call them (as long as it's not tuesday) and they'll tell you.

Although I am not familiar with the medical supply stores in Seattle, I know that when my dad was ill (in a smaller town) these type of stores carried gowns.

Maybe give these people a call:

Thanks for the sites. I called one without luck, but I'll try the other tomorrow.

Oh, and perhaps try a hospital pharmacy.

There's a medical supply store off Aurora and 122nd. Try there.

If all else fails, maybe you could get scrubs from a uniform store? (There's one in Northgate mall.) It wouldn't be exactly the same, but you could look hospital-y.
