Portlanders seeking decent downtown Seattle restaurants

Neighbors to the North: my wife and I have been reviewing the "tourism" tagged posts in prep for our stay in your city this weekend, but are seeking locals' recs for good indy restaurants downtown. Seems every time we visit we end up in chain restaurants, and we'd rather start focusing on places that are unique to Seattle.

As far as proximity, we're staying in the Roosevelt, and although we'd prefer something close, we'll have a car and are willing to drive for deliciousness.

Suggestions, and/or links to review websites specifically geared toward such places? (Down here, we have www.portlandfoodanddrink.com, for example, and although I'm sure there are a few analogous sites for Seattle, I'm not having much luck turning them up.)

No type of cuisine is off-limits. Breakfast, as well as dinner, and killer cocktail/dessert places: we'll eat it all.

Thanks so much.

ETA: Thanks for all the suggestions so far! Also a clarification: we're staying at the Roosevelt Hotel downtown, as opposed to staying on a street called Roosevelt.
