"Rescue Heavy Major"

Anyone know what's going on on Capitol *Hills* right now? The 911 Real-Time site gives an address of 1440 16h Ave with a description of "Rescue Heavy Major".

The sirens won't quit!

Did the rage virus finally overtake the Hill?

EDIT 4:10 p.m.: Now it's helicopters all over the place.

EDIT 4:37 p.m.: According to The Slog, a woman is stuck in a chimney.

EDIT 4:50 p.m.: Woman out of chimney. No apparent injuries. On way to hospital.

Heavy Major is a Darfor refuge living in America. Apparently he's having some medical issues and needs an immediate and sustained rescue.

Hopefully it'll be something newsworthy for all of that fuss. With all those sirens & helicopters, I bet it's something really bad for at least one person that you don't know. We wait for your on-the-scene report.

I was getting on line to find out. I live at 21st and Union and the area around here is closed off and crazy!

(The taxi driver who brought me home said a school is on fire, but I don't see smoke?)

3:04pm - 15th & Union - Disturbance - Woman on the roof of the Temple De Hirsch Sinai, refuses to get down. White woman, 20s. She's "acting strange and throwing things off". Possibly high (in the drugs sense). Waving a large knife toward the parking lot where her boyfriend and another woman are standing. A lot of kids and traffic are in the area because school is letting out, complicating the situation.

Update: 3:32pm - Police went up on a ladder to get the woman, but she crawled down into a chimney that has a lot of heat coming out of it. Unclear where it leads, but a kiln was mentioned. Seattle Fire is on the scene to help, and may have to do a high-angle rescue.

Update: 3:50pm - It appears that the chimney leads to the boiler room. Her status is unclear, and it's not clear how they'll be able to get her out.

Update: 4:33pm - Woman is out of the chimney

It says she was on the roof and then surrounded by the police, she decided to exit through the chimney. Weird.
