West Seattle Bridge

Does anyone have any idea what happened on the WS Bridge last night? I was headed home about 9:30 from the basketball game, and the west bound side of the bridge was closed, with cops all over the place. They were diverting everyone to the smaller bridge (called ?) to cross. I can't find anything anywhere about what happened.

I think they just call it the spokane st bridge. I dunno about the accident though. I saw two crazy big accidents saturday night at 130 though, maybe it is some crazy accident weekend. I was not informed.

the lower bridge is the Spokane Street Swing Bridge...
but I don't know what the issue was on the higher bridge though.

That's weird - the same thing hppened when I came home Monday night around the same time. Are they doing some work on the bridge?

It was closed for a police training excercise.
