Yeah, I have it on my bookmarks bar and click it every once in awhile. We live right by a fire station in Ballard, so I'm forever hearing sirens screaming past the apartment.
Fire in your house? Uh oh, I hope everything/everyone is OK. :\
Yep, it's me. During one of my many pseudo-camwhorin' moments. Heh. Actually, I was telling a friend about the flower in my hair and she wanted to see, so I snapped a few pictures. I particularly liked how that one came out, so I iconized it.
Hahah, are you talking about the one with the clouds in the background? [It's hard to tell how these comments are structured sometimes, since I didn't follow the comment from my email.]
While I'd love to be able to say that's me, since I dig the chick somethin' fierce, that's Janeane Garofalo! I made that icon awhile ago and have probably had it the longest out of all of the ones I currently have.
I was walking by the apartment in question this morning (near 24 exactly after the fire) and I saw a "NOW LEASING" sign hanging from the building's exterior.
(laughs) Actually, as amusing as that is, if the "Now Leasing" sign you saw was on the brick building right on the corner, that'd be my building — it was the white building next door, just to the north of mine, that went up in flames.
Yes, it was on the brick building. I assumed it was the brick building that was a-flame yesterday. All the firetrucks and emergency vehicles kept me at least a block off of the epicenter of activity and from a distance, it appeared that all the activity was happening to your building.
There were people on your roof at one point, weren't there?

I used to work near there. If it burns to the ground, the quality of the neighborhood will go way up.

I'd be into camwhores more if they had such style.

Keeps going
Hope springs everlasting:I was walking by the apartment in question this morning (near 24 exactly after the fire) and I saw a "NOW LEASING" sign hanging from the building's exterior.
You have to admire that, in a way.

Re: Keeps going
Unless, of course, someone went out and put a sign on the building next door and I didn't notice it yet (which is entirely possible)...March 11 2004, 10:26:20 UTC 8 years ago
